The Art of CodeFu (\kōd fǘ\):
A martial art-like level of skill and mastery in Coding/Computer Programming.
“For one of my UC Berkeley Graduate projects, I had to recreate the Space Invaders game in Scratch. I had this one bug I couldn’t figure out. I showed it to one of my 5th grade students and I swear to God, he debugged it!!! It was insane and such a cool thing to see! ”
Will Woods - CodeFu Lead Teacher
"I wanted to thank you again for everything this year and reiterate what a pleasure it's been to have Landon with us on campus. He is a wonderful teacher: kind but firm, a wonderful classroom manager and always listening to the students' needs. Our students adore him, and look forward to seeing him each week."
Erin Nieuwenhuijs, Former Director of After School and Summer Programs - Katherine Delmar Burke School
CodeFu is the Primary After School Coding & Computer Science Enrichment, Immersion Program, & Franchise that is designed by former Teachers and Software Engineers to provide TK - 8th grade with extended education in Computer Science within the comfort of their schools. Our curriculum goes beyond the Coding Curriculum that School Districts & other After School Coding Clubs focus on and teaches Coding to kids with the best Educational Coding resources available while combining it with effective classroom management & National Common Core Standards from English to Mathematics.
Taking the discipline seen in KungFu, our San Francisco Bay Area Based After School Coding for Kids & Immersion Programs teach coding that includes: Block Coding, Tangible Coding, the programming languages of: Ruby, Python, Java, HTML, Css, & .Js by challenging our students to code everything from Websites to Apps to Games to Robots. Our Coding Classes scaffold these programming, logical, & concentration skills to provide students with Training in "The Art of CodeFu”.
We're currently at over 50 schools in the San Francisco Bay Area
