Owner & Operator of CodeFu Augusta & CodeFu Atlanta

Jennifer Moran was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She joined the United States Army immediately after high school and spent six years managing the education and training programs of her fellow soldiers. After completing her commitment to the Army, she worked as a civilian contractor for the US Navy at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. Eventually, she would move to Augusta, Ga which is the home of the Georgia Cyber Center, and there she developed an interest in Computer Science. Over the course of a year, she taught herself how to code through various online programs. When she noticed there was a serious lack of educational opportunities for the children of the Greater Augusta Area to learn how to code, she decided to do something about it by bringing CodeFu Augusta to her local area. Today, she takes pride in having the opportunity to combine her love of education and computer science by teaching the Art of CodeFu to as many children as possible.
